Marxio Timer is not just another simple program that can act as timer/reminder. Current version allows you to execute many basic actions like shut down computer, restart or hibernate. This version allows you to do more - logout user, lock screen and also display text, play sound and run other files like in Windows Explorer.

When? Here lies the power of this small application - any time you may want, like in 5 min, every 20 min, every 30 min of idle time, once after hour. After time elapses, the selected action executes and this program can also terminate itself or not - depends on options selected. Screenshot can be made and saved to disk before executing action.
After starting task, you may select to show program countdown window, hide it on taskbar, minimize application to icon or even hide it from user eyes completely!
Moreover, it can also save actions for further use or even place shortcut to action on desktop so that you can pin it to “Start Menu” or move it to “Quick Launch Bar” area (right of “start” button) for quicked access.
Standard version doesn´t integrate with Windows nor uses Windows Registry. It just installs itself in selected folder. Portable version (separate download) is ideal for using it on portable USB drives.

- timer - shutting down computer or reboot at specifiec time
- parental control - locks computer after specified time elapses, thus blocking children to play games - password needed to unlock computer

- reminder - displays text or plays sound at the time you specified, like every 30 min, once, after 30 min, in 30 min and so on

I always listen to music at bed and needed something to turn off my pc. This soft is powerful and easy to use. nice work.
I used poweroff utility, but this one is better because of saving jobs or placing shortcuts to actions on my computer desktop or menu start.
