Here is complete features (taken from authors site):
SediCalc consists of several modules for sedimentological analysis. Currently, these modules are included: * Atterberg
o calculates settling times in differential settling analyses
o calculates density and viscosity data for a variety of suspension media in dependance on temperature
o density and viscosity data are store in an editable file as coefficients of a 6 deg. polynomial regression.
o calculates time and date for the end of analysis for a given starting date. Don’t bother with adding hours, minutes, and seconds to the starting time. Let the computer do that for you (he can do it better…).
o prints pretty tables (see below)
* Centrifuge
o calculates settling times in differential settling analyses using centrifuge methods
o calculates density and viscosity data for a variety of suspension media in dependance on temperature
o calculates time and date for the end of analysis for a given starting date
o prints pretty tables (see below)
* Editor
o let you edit, create, save text files. For example, use it to modify the density/viscosity data
* Ca-Mg
o calculates Mg in calcites from XRD peak shifts
o calculates stoechiometry of dolomites from XRD peak shift
